I have worked in criminal justice for the past 9 years, including experience with the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and in various Adult Probation officer positions. Research Training

I hold an M.S. in Applied Criminology and am pursuing my PhD in Political Science and International Affairs, where I’ve built what may be the first comprehensive integration of FBI Uniform Crime Reports, National Corrections Reporting Program data, and Census data, spanning 65 years across all 50 states.I'm writing my dissertation on how political-economic structures shape justice institutions. I use advanced statistical methods, reproducible pipelines, and interactive visualization to make structural patterns legible.

Lived Experience

I have the perspective of someone who has sat on both sides of the table. There are many nuances in the ways institutional systems impact people, both internally and externally. My personal history allows me to be open to experiences that do not appear on paper and helps me dig deeper into the data to paint a complete picture of the world’s reality.
